On January 15, 2017, Professor Thomas Hesse, the deputy secretary general of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, visited Shiraz University of Technology. In a meeting with the academic members of Shiraz University of Technology, he described the history of the Foundation and presented a statistical report on the grants awarded to the researchers worldwide.
