On 18 May 2019 a team from Shiraz University of Technology visited Iraq University College in Basrah. In this visit, the chancellors, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Alavianmehr and Dr. Abdul-Hadi Al-Hassani, signed an MOU between the two universities to strengthen the scientific cooperation.
