In an in-vivo collaborative study, researchers from nano-optoelectronic research center of Shiraz University of Technology (SUTECH) and Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS), succeeded in eliminating cancer cells by using carbon nanotubes and laser-therapy, simultaneously.
This research is based on the efforts of Mohammad Ali Behnam; Ph.D. student and Dr. Farzin Emami, faculty member of SUTECH, with Dr. Zahra Sobhani and Dr. Amirreza Dehghanian; faculty members of SUMS.
This research has been published in International Journal of Nanomedicine.
