In Physics 1 laboratory course, students carryout some experiments in mechanics and thermo-physics. Through this course, students get familiar with measurement of physical quantities, calculation of errors and writing report for a Lab work. Experiments in this course are as follows: Measurement, Free Fall, Atwood Machine, Balance and external force, Hook’s Law, Friction, Elastic and inelastic collision, Harmonic oscillator, Temperature, Kinematic/ Trajectory of a projectile, Heat and the first law of thermodynamics.
