Welcome to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at Shiraz University of Technology. We officially started at 2009 with Electroceramics major. Now MSE has three active M. Sc. majors, including; Electroceramics, Corrosion and Protection of Materials, and Materials Characterization and Selection and\u00a0 we are planning to accept Ph. D. students in Advanced Materials\u00a0 major from 2017, fall semester. There are 8 young and full time faculty members in the department\u00a0 dedicated to research and teaching.\u00a0 Previous records show that our graduated students are able to show great potential for their future role in the society, either as Ph.
