Welcome from the Chair
Welcome to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at Shiraz University of Technology. We officially started at 2009 with Electroceramics major. Now MSE has three active M. Sc. majors, including; Electroceramics, Corrosion and Protection of Materials, and Materials Characterization and Selection and we are planning to accept Ph. D. students in Advanced Materials major from 2017, fall semester. There are 8 young and full time faculty members in the department dedicated to research and teaching. Previous records show that our graduated students are able to show great potential for their future role in the society, either as Ph. D. student or as technical experts.
