The Department of Computer Networks and Architecture was established to provide graduate students with essential knowledge in the fields of computer networks and computer architecture. Since September 2010, the Master’s program in Information Technology with a specialization in Computer Networks, and since September 2013, the Master’s program in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Computer Systems Architecture, have been offered within this department.
Since 2018, the Master’s program in Information Technology with a specialization in Computer and Communication Networks has replaced the previous Computer Networks program. This program aims to equip graduate students with advanced expertise in the areas of computer and communication networks. It is considered one of the key academic programs at Shiraz University of Technology, where, through high-quality instruction and specialized laboratories, students gain exposure to the latest theoretical and practical advancements in the field.
