The Robocup Team of the Shiraz University of Technology, entitled CYRUS, has been qualified for the second consecutive time to attend the World Cup Championship of two-dimensional football simulation league. In 2014 World RoboCup World Championship held in Brazil and the representative of the Shiraz University of Technology achieved the fourth-rank in the technical competition section and obtained fifth-place in the two-dimensional football simulation section. Twenty-four teams from different countries including Iran, China, Japan, Australia, Romania, India, Brazil, Portugal and Mexico have been qualified to enter the tournament.
