Power Engineering
Power Group is one of the research groups in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Shiraz University of Technology. Based on the expertise of seven full-time faculty members and the well-equipped laboratories, the main fields of research in Power Group consist of Control Drives, Electric Machine Design, FACTS, Micro-grids, Power Electronics, and Power System Analysis, Optimization, Restructuring and Deregulation.
Power Group has made a strategic commitment to the highest quality of research and education by recruiting the best academics in their disciplines and providing its students an education that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of innovation.
