Nanophysics laboratory was established in 2005 under the department of physics. This lab benefits from scanning tunneling microscope (STM) for imaging surface in atomic size. In this laboratory nanoparticles titanium dioxide and silver nanoparticles have been synthesized by chemical and physical methods and optical filter, coated with silver nanoparticles was produced.
