Currently atomic and molecular group (AMG) has two assistant professors. More than three books and chapter books have been published by faculty members of AMG and several industrial projects have been conducted under their supervision.

- Wave propagation.
- Optical solitons
- Microring resonator
- Sensors/biosensors
- Bio-physics.
