Ali Johari
Academic Appointments
Ali Johari is a professor at Shiraz University of Technology, civil and environmental engineering department, where he has been a faculty member since 2009. He received his BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. degrees from Shiraz University in 1995, 1999, and 2006, respectively. In 2008, he was a Post-Doctoral researcher at Exeter University, UK, where he is currently a member of the research staff in the Computational Geomechanics group.
He is a frequent reviewer for over 20 top journals in Geotechnical engineering, Computational Geomechanics, Artificial intelligent systems, and Unsaturated soil mechanics. He was the supervisor or advisor of more than 40 M.Sc and Ph.D. students. He has also been frequently invited to review books in Stochastic analysis, Geotechnical earthquake engineering, Unsaturated soil, Soil improvement, and Geotechnical engineering.
